Our 4th Annual Back-to-School Bash was an Olympic-sized success! Over 2,000 of our school families and friends gathered at the Upper Campus for an incredible night of festivities. From relay races and a parade to extreme inflatable games and food trucks, the night was full of fun!
The evening started on the Track with a baton relay race starting with our TK and Kindergarteners passing the baton to our first graders, then to the second graders, and so on all the way to the big finale finish of our Seniors crossing the finish line!
A beautiful rendition of The Star Spangled Banner was sung by our High School Chamber Choir with the presentation of the United States flag. Students gathered all across the upper field in their grade levels ready to begin a spectacular Parade of Nations! Each grade level represented a country from around the world. Many of the countries chosen for our elementary and middle school students aligned with the country each grade level will study more in depth as part of their missions curriculum throughout the year. High school grade level countries represented some of the countries visited over the years in our High School Missions program. The representation of countries in the hand-painted banners and country flags along with students dressed to coordinate created a splash of color on the field! It was truly a spectacular sight!
Following the parade was the hilarious mascot race! A blow-up dinosaur, unicorn, clown and more raced together down the track, jumping hurdles and creating many many laughs in the audience!
Even more fun awaited on the mid-field with 15 extreme jumper inflatables and a rock wall ready for action! Students and families enjoyed a variety of food trucks, ice cream, crepes, and coffee as they were able to fellowship together and test their skills on all the games.
What a wonderful night to be together and celebrate being a Royal! Thanks to all those who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this a monumental success! Go Royals!
