 /  Arts and Drama

Students at Woodcrest Christian Day School are led in singing psalms, hymns, and wholesome songs in making melody with their whole hearts to the Lord.  Singing is a part of general classroom activities, as well as specific choral practice and special class program presentations.

“Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord” Ephesians 5:19

ART CLASSES

Art is the expression of God’s creation and creativity. It is incorporated as part of class studies such as Bible, geography, science, etc. for Kdg-2nd grades. Students in 3rd-6th grades receive specific art instruction once per week which includes art appreciation and art history. A culminating art festival takes place at the end of the year where student artwork is on display during Open House.
