Middle School Service Projects

At Woodcrest Christian Middle School we have several local service projects that we enjoy being a part of each year. This year, we are partnering with The Riverside and San Bernardino City Missions to pack their Thanksgiving boxes for the Inland Empire at their distribution center!

‘We serve God best by serving others before ourselves.’ This core value is one we work hard to impart to our students. On November 22nd and November 20th, our 7th and 8th graders, respectively, will serve at the Riverside-San Bernardino City Mission Warehouse in San Bernardino to prepare over 1000 meals distributed across the Inland Empire in time for Thanksgiving. November 20th and 22nd are considered school days. (We leave right after 8:30 and return before 2:45.)  These days support our curriculum which calls for the development of young servant leaders. Students will also receive 3 service hours for attending! This tangible way we teach our students to serve their communities has become a holiday tradition not to be missed!

After our morning of service, we will have lunch at John’s Incredible Pizza. The cost for the day is $10.00 which includes school bus transportation, unlimited pizza lunch, and a $5 FUN Card for the arcades and rides at John’s Incredible Pizza. (The rest of the cost for the day is covered by Student Body Fee funds included in your tuition.)

Your student will need to turn in their permission slip and $10.00 to their homeroom teacher by Wednesday, November 13th! Your student will receive the informational flyer and permission slip by November 4th.
