Athletics

Welcome to Woodcrest Christian School's Athletics Department

The Woodcrest Christian athletic program exists to glorify God by developing Christian character and excellence in our student athletes through life-transforming competitive experiences. Opportunities are available for both individual and team participation. Athletics offer a unique and effective environment in which to learn some of the Christian life’s most valued lessons. These can include sacrifice, diligence, perseverance, respect, and putting the good of the group ahead of what is good for oneself. Christian values and character are cultivated with team devotions, coach mentorship and leadership opportunities.

While our championships speak to the competitiveness of our program, Woodcrest Christian athletes strive to compete for the glory of God. This is evidenced by WCS being awarded the League Sportsmanship Award 17 times in the past 23 years. Woodcrest Christian high school sports teams are part of the Ambassador League.
