Woodcrest Christian Day School students have the opportunity to participate in P.E. and sports during school days throughout the school year.
P.E.
P.E. is a part of weekly activities for all students (Kindergarten – 6th) where they are taught skills and exercises including physical agility and strengthening from our WCDS P.E. coach.
Intramural Sports
Intramural sports are also offered throughout the year for grades 3rd through 6th. Students are placed on mixed-grade teams where they play one another during specific lunch periods. Students in 3rd and 4th grades play one another, while students in 5th and 6th grade play each other. There is no additional cost for students to participate in intramural sports.

100 Mile Club
100 Mile Club is an activity for 1st-6th graders to promote healthy lifestyles organized through the nationwide 100 Mile Club organization. Learn more about 100 Mile Club.
Physical Fitness Testing
Students train and participate in physical fitness testing twice per year to achieve age-appropriate goals. Students are tested on the following: timed mile run, curl ups, shuttle run, pull ups/push ups, sit and reach. Awards are given at the end of the year.
Cheer Camp
The Varsity Cheerleaders from our high school campus host a Cheer Camp for all girls interested in school spirit, cheering, and fun! They demonstrate and give instruction on cheering, jumps and how to rally the crowd. Get details for the upcoming Mini Cheer Camp.
