Advanced Algebra 1
Advanced Geometry
Advanced World History
DATES/TIMES:
June 9th through July 11th, M-F, 8:00-12:00 (except June 19th and July 4th)
PROGRAM:
The five-week classes are the equivalent of a regular high school year long course, will count toward high school credits, and will affect the high school GPA.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Algebra 1 class is only offered for students who need to repeat Algebra 1. Students with a previous grade of D or F will have their lower grade replaced by the higher. Students who are repeating the class for review, who earned a C- or higher previously, will not have their grade changed. Students may not take Algebra 1 for the first time in summer school.
Geometry and World History are offered for students who need to repeat the class or who want to advance a year. Students repeating the class to replace a D or F will have their lower grade replaced by the higher. Students wanting to advance a year by taking Geometry need to have completed Algebra 1 with an A or B and be recommended by their current math teacher. Students completing Geometry in summer school will advance either to Advanced Algebra 2 or Honors Algebra 2 next school year.

Registration closes May 30, 2025
Acceptance is contingent upon academic need and made on a first-come, first-served basis.
A maximum of 6 hours absent are allowed each semester for credit to be received.Students must be present on the day of final exam – final exams may not be taken early.If a parent drops the class on or before June 1st a full refund except for the $50 registration fee will be given.If a parent drops the class after June 8th the full $200 deposit is non-refundable.If a parent drops the class on or after June 11th, the full $520 is non-refundable. If the school cancels the class, full refunds will be given.
*A minimum of 12 must be signed up for each class to be offered.
COST:
$520 for the five-week course
$200 deposit due upon registration (includes $50 non-refundable registration fee)
$320 balance due by the first day of class.
