College Counseling

Dear Students and Parents,

It is my joy and honor to work with you during your high school career here at Woodcrest Christian. My goal is to provide you with the necessary tools and resources to help you navigate high school, college/university choices, and beyond to better serve our Lord.

To help in this process, we offer grade level College Success Nights throughout the school year (see dates below). We invite both parents and students to each of these meetings. These events will cover topics such as Graduation Requirements, College Planning, College Applications, Financial Aid, NCAA Eligibility, PSAT Results, and more.

I would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. Students, stop by my office before school, nutrition break, lunch, or even after school for quick questions and help. Parents, please do not hesitate to reach me by phone, email, or to schedule an appointment.

September 16 – Mandatory Senior Dinner (12th)

September 26 – Freshmen Welcome Meeting (9th)
October 8 – Christian College Fair (9th-12th, 6pm– 8pm)
February 22 – PSAT Results & The Path to College Athletics (10th & 11th)

February 26 – Senior Financial Aid Meeting (12th)

April 9 – Junior College Planning Meeting (11th)

WCS GRADUATION RATE

85% attend a four year university

13% attend a two year college

2% join the military

Students are accepted to colleges and universities across the entire country including Biola, Baylor, Pepperdine, West Point all of the University of California campuses and many Ivy league schools including Harvard.
