Royal Legacy Gala FAQs

Where will the event be held?

The Gala will be held in the Royals Pavilion on our upper campus at 18401 Van Buren Blvd. in Riverside.

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available to purchase online or in person in the front office of either campus.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No, tickets must be purchased online or in person at one of our campus front offices prior to September 14.

What is the recommended attire for the evening?

Semi-formal attire is recommended.

How long is the Gala?

The Gala begins promptly at 7pm and will finish around 9-9:30pm.

Who does the Gala benefit?

The Gala is solely hosted for benefitting future students at Woodcrest Christian. All money raised goes directly to the Royals Financial Aid fund. This fund is 100% supported by donations and does not consist of current families tuition dollars. Each year approximately 15-20% of tuition is given through financial aid to qualifying families. This fund has made the difference for many families that have come through our school system. We know all monies raised will be a blessing to future families who need a bit of assistance to afford a Christ-centered education.

What happens at the Gala?

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by Woodcrest Christian staff at the entrance to the Royals Pavilion. From 6pm – 7pm, a collection of vintage cars will be on display while hors d’oeuvres are served. The Gala begins promptly at 7pm and you will be served a delicious dinner and dessert while enjoying heartwarming stories from our guest speakers, and entertainment from our WCS students. You can also visit the silent auction table to peruse a variety of items available to bid on.

Is seating assigned?

Seating is assigned by table number. We would suggest that you let us know the names of friends you would prefer to sit next to in the “Special Arrangements” box during ticket purchase online.

Can I bring my children?

The Gala is an adults only event…an evening for dressing up and having fun!

If I have food allergies, how do I let you know?

Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary concerns in the “Special Arrangements” box when you purchase tickets online. You can also email any requests or concerns to mrs.gfeller@wcss.org.

May I bring guests not associated with Woodcrest Christian?

Yes! All guests are welcome.

Will I be required to purchase or spend?

Beyond the price of your ticket to enjoy the evening, you may spend as little or as much as you like! There are no limits and no requirements as to how much an attendee can spend. We welcome and appreciate all of our community’s support.

How can I sponsor or contribute an auction item?

If you would like to sponsor a portion of the evening or contribute an item for the auction, please contact Scott Reynolds at mr.reynolds@wcss.org.

Who makes this event happen?

There have been countless hours of preparation by WCS administration and a committee of current and past WCS parents that have contributed to the planning and success of this event.
