The mission of our school system  is to “Glorify God by pursuing excellence  in Christ-centered Academics” to fulfill the following goals:

Lead students and their families to faith in Christ for salvation.
Challenge every believer to obey God’s Word for Christian growth.
Empower believers by the Holy Spirit to change the world by using their God-given gifts and talents.

Woodcrest Christian Day School is a ministry of the Woodcrest Christian School System and offers classes for transitional kindergarten through 6th grade. We also offer a college-preparatory program for grades 7 through 12 at our secondary campus, Woodcrest Christian School.  The total enrollment is over 900 students for our entire TK-12 program.

Our teachers are carefully selected Christians who are qualified college graduates and  certified to teach by the Association of Christian Schools (ACSI) and/or by the State of California or another state. They are trained academically and spiritually to minister to students in their assigned grade levels. Our teachers are prepared to instruct students in wisdom and discipline them in love.  Our school system is accredited by  the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Our teachers follow a sequentially developed curriculum of Christ-centered academics. We use a variety of different curriculum based on our goals and objectives for each subject such as ABeka Books, Bob Jones, Saxon, Harcourt & Brace, and other textbook suppliers. The goal of our instruction is to help the students to grow in the wisdom of God. Learn more about our curriculum.

School hours for the Elementary campus are 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The school year begins in August and ends in late May.

Tuition and fees are announced on February 15th each year for the next school year. View current tuition rate schedules. Families with more than one student enrolled in the system will be charged full tuition for the oldest child. A 10% discount will be applied to the tuition of the second oldest child. All children beyond the second will receive a 25% tuition discount.

The average class size for our elementary campus is about 24 students, and we generally have three classes per grade level. Our enrollment is over 500 students for transitional kindergarten through 6th grade and over 600 students for our middle and high school campus.

Library facilities, computer instruction, choral classes, art, p.e., drama, band, and field trips are offered to all grade levels. Guitar lessons are available on a sign-up basis. Other optional campus programs include a hot lunch program, summer day camp, individual tutoring, intramural sportsshuttle bus service between campuses, and extended day care.

We call the students to obedience by loving God and loving people. We believe that students need to be loved freely and guided firmly toward wholesome growth. When students learn to love and obey God they are better able to love and respect people. The goal of our discipline is to help students grow in the character of Jesus Christ while shepherding their hearts. We emphasize the development of attentiveness, obedience, responsibility, and kindness.

Our school system is accredited by ACSI and by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Read more.
