Time to Serve

Isaiah 49:6b “I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

As you receive this newsletter, 99 students and 23 adults will be digging, sharing, painting, cleaning, singing, building, and presenting God’s love to the people of Belize and Alaska. Eight teams are investing in others and putting their own comforts aside. It’s this type of trip that actually puts our faith into action in such a way that develops lifelong character, a strong work ethic, and punctuated spiritual growth.

What a special opportunity to develop traits of service and character among our students each year on these trips. Many of you have sent your student faithfully on this trip and others have agreed to faithfully support and pray for our students while they’re gone. I want to say “thank you” to all of our prayer partners, supporters, and parents. Don’t forget to follow along to see what God is doing!

Nathan D. Lambert, Woodcrest Christian High School Principal

Tech News

One of our parents recently recommended an app to help parents monitor their student's technology. This app is called BARK, but there are several others out there like it! In light of our guest speaker this past month bringing to light the potential dangers in the tech world today, it is important for every parent to consider what might be helpful and appropriate for their family!
