ABOUT WOODCREST CHRISTIAN CHAPEL

One of the primary ways we seek transformation in the student body is through our chapel programs. Our chapel programs are designed to challenge and enrich our students spiritually. We have national speakers, local pastors, Christian performance groups, and our very own teachers present God’s Word.

Chapel is held once per week for middle and high school students. Middle School chapels are held separately from High School chapels, except on some occasions where the chapels are combined. Elementary school students experience chapel, and praise and worship days each month at our elementary campus.

Chapels are also a time for students to have the opportunity to serve their peers by leading in student-led worship and by praying for one another. Our chapels also create space for Q&A sessions and messages focused on topics that many of our students find relevant to their daily living. We invite local pastors and dynamic speakers to help point us to the redeemed life that God provides for us in Christ.

Each year a theme from the four main pillars of Woodcrest Christian—Wisdom, Character, Stewardship, and Service—is chosen to serve as a primary point of emphasis. In the Spring, our Spiritual Emphasis Week also creates an opportunity for worship and transformation.
