What is “the village” Teaching Your Child?

[November 1, 2022] — As the old proverb reminds us "it takes a village to raise a child", we must ask ourselves then "who is the village?" Who are the "guests" that you allow into your home to influence your child? They are social media, the internet, music, movies and TV shows. As more and more content pushes to normalize behavior that God's Word calls sin, ensuring your child's media consumption matches your own values is of critical importance to raising children in God's Truth, ready to live their life for Him.

It is interesting that in today’s world of partisan politics which is filled with so much anger, the Queen stood so far above it all that she became not only a symbol to the people of the United Kingdom but of the world.

Alumni Spotlight: Hannah Seabert ’13

[May 17, 2022] — December of 2021 was a full circle moment in Hannah Seabert’s professional soccer career. At the age of 26 Hannah found herself with gloves on and in the goal. As the game was starting Hannah was commanding her teammates, surrounded by thousands of cheering fans as she was getting ready to face off against Sandviken at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway.
